TRIP ITINERARY :

 

Day 1 :

Meet at airport and transfer  to your hotel. Time at leisure ,where you can take advantage of the One Day  Hop on hop off  ticket given to you.  Visit Rome by the Open-top bus. (I Love Rome City Tour) and listen to the audio commentary available in 12 languages and get on and off at any of the eight stops . Return to the hotel on your own and overnight stay in Rome.

 

Day 2
Rome > Assisi > Siena > Florence (B, D)

Departing at 7:15 am from hotel by deluxe coach . Arrive in Assisi ,a  tiny town surrounded by walls, built in the Middle Ages ,visit the basilica of St. Francis and  free time for lunch (not included). Board on the bus to reach Siena, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Then continue on to Florence Dinner and  overnight in Florence.

 

Day 3
Florence (B, L)

After breakfast, walking around beautiful Florence, the “Cradle of Renaissance”. An open air museum  with  uncountable monuments, churches and buildings and several masterpieces by Michelango, amongst them the Baptistery, with its bronze doors where Michelangelo imagined the “Gates of Paradise.”. Lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant in Piazza Santa Croce. Spend the afternoon strolling the cobblestone streets of Florence on your own or take a short trip to Pisa (optional), to visit  Pisa’s symbol “the Leaning Tower” . Dinner at leisure, overnight stay in Florence.

 

Day 4
Florence > Bologna > Venice (B, Local Food Experience). After breakfast in Florence,depart  to Bologna. Upon arrival, begin a  walking tour at Piazza Malpighi,  Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore , Palazzo Podestà as well as the Basilica of San Petronio, the largest Gothic church in the world built with bricks. The highlight in Bologna will be the  vibrant street food scene, which is rich and diverse .Enjoy a  Complimentary street food light lunch  at a local eatery offered by us, this is your chance to savor the authentic flavors and unique dishes that define Bologna's renowned gastronomic identity.  Later , continue  towards  Venice (Mestre). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and overnight in Mestre.

 

Day 5
Venice (B, Local Food Experience)

After breakfast, transfer to Piazza San Marco, and visit the most iconic places of the “Floating City”: the Palazzo dei Dogi, symbol of Venice’s glorious past, the legendary “Bridge of Sighs”. After the walking tour, you will be served  a spritz or a prosecco, as and as a conclusion, a Complimentary taste of the famous "cicchetti," a Venetian variation of tapas (light lunch).  Return to the hotel and overnight in Mestre.

Day 6
Venice > Tuscany Wine Region (Montepulciano) > Rome (B, L)

After breakfast,  head towards  Tuscany, world-known for its landscapes, its churches and castles, and its delicious wines. You will proceed to Val di Chiana with a stop in Montepulciano, known for its “Nobile” wine. During lunch in a typical restaurant (included),  enjoying a glass of fine local wine.  In the evening arrive in Rome, overnight hotel in Rome.

 

Day 7
Rome (B)

After breakfast, departure from the hotel for the included tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Square with the exclusive “Skip the Line” access! Walk along the Galleries of Tapestries and Geographical Maps before admiring Raphael’s Rooms and, then, the amazing Sistine Chapel. The tour ends in St. Peter’s Square.  Overnight stay in Rome.

Rome (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport.
