TRIP ITINARARY : 

Day 1 : Beirut - Colombo. Departure Beirut to Colombo.   

DAY 2 : Colombo - Kandy. Arrival Colombo Airport. Meet, assist and proceed to Kandy.

Afternoon city tour of Kandy, which is a world heritage site. Drive around the Kandy lake, and visit Kandy town and bazaar, a gem museum, a lapidary and arts and crafts center. In the evening visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which was brought to Sri Lanka and grown in repute and holiness throughout the Buddhist world. Also visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden. This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Evening CULTURAL DANCE SHOW.  Overnight  in Kandy .

DAY 3 : Kandy. After breakfast, Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, enroute visiting a Tea Plantation and a tea factory, where the best Tea in the world is produced. Here you will learn all about the process of manufacturing and grading tea. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the Factory. Transfer from tea plantation to Nuwara Eliya, which is the "Little England" of Sri Lanka, set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys and  Waterfalls.  Overnight in Kandy.  

DAY 4 : Kandy - Colombo. After breakfast, proceed to Colombo. Enroute visit to the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala, which was started in 1975 to house abandoned and wounded elephants. The sanctuary covers 25 acres of lush vegetation with an approximate population of about 89 elephants (both adult and baby elephants). Overnight in Colombo.

DAY 5 : Colombo. After breakfast. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing Tour of Colombo driving through the Commercial area of the "Fort" so named, because both the Portuguese and Dutch had a Fort here. Drive past "Pettah", the noisy Oriental bazaar, view a Hindu temple, Jumi-ul Alfar Jumma Mosque, Wolvendaal Dutch Church, Hultsdorf Law courts, and the residential area of Cinnamon Gardens, Independence Square and Bandaranayke Memorial Conference Hall.  Overnight in Colombo.

DAY 6 : Colombo - Beirut. After breakfast, transfer to Colombo airport and return to Beirut.
